Character of the tour:

It all starts with super curves through Fritztal, to Bischofshofen and up to Mühlbach, past Hochkönig to Lend, down small streets onto an idyllic plateau to Goldegg, through St Johann into the Tal der Almen [Valley of the Alms] - Großarl - where you can have lunch in comfort at the end of the valley at Talwirt, and then go back out onto the Grossarltal past Wagrain to Kleinerl then Jägersee - you should not pass up a coffee break with a good strudel - then you have the option to come straight back to Altenmarkt or to add another little trip on to Forstau, Pichl, Ramsau and Filzmoos - the drive onto the Dachstein glacier offers amazing views - from the Türlwandhütte you can go by cable car to Dachstein and up there on the "Skywalk" - made out of glass! - enjoy the amazing view - usually the manager of the hotel likes to take part in this tour out himself, and there will tell you about the beautiful little places to be discovered around Laudersbach.
