In neighbouring Flachau, the famous world cup resort for alpine skiing, your children will find a full programme of events: high ropes challenge course, caving and the super cool zorbing are particularly in demand there. The many bathing lakes of the Altenmarkt / Zauchensee region in the glorious Salzburg state lure you in to cool down after sports or simply for a splash around.
At the same time Altenmarkt / is the ideal starting point to discover the Mozart's Salzburg and the Salzburg state with its Liechtensteinklamm [gorge], Eisriesenwelt [world of ice] or the Großglockner high alpine road..
The Salzburger Land Card offers you the ideal way to save money. Right at the top of the activities hitlist, unchanging, are the hiking and mountain experiences in our Altenmarkt / Zauchensee.
Whether by foot, by bike or by mountain railway - the view from above is impressive and the nature in its unspoilt state and peacefulness is unique. If at some point it should be a little less active, then a comfortable shopping trip through Altenmarkt is the best choice.

Our Hotel Laudersbach is the partner company of the nearby Tauern-Golf-facilities (circa 2.5km away) in the Salzburg state, with its worldwide unique Birdie-Jet (special lift up to the wonderful 12th tee).
The GC-Radstadt has a 18 hole tournament course and a 9 hole compact course which was built according to the newest environmental and landscape standards. When you are a guest at our hotel, you will get numerous benefits and perks at the Tauern-Golf-facilities.
Bathing fun for old and young
About 1km away is the naturally made Erlebnis-Badesee [lake resort] in Altenmarkt / Zauchensee, which offers a special kind of bathing day with numerous opportunities for young and old. Also only 1km away the new hot spring "Therme Amadé" is provided. Tennis enthusiasts are also catered for. They are able to let loose on the neighbouring tennis facilities and tennis aces (about 10 outdoor courts + indoor courts), and maybe even play a few sets with the tennis racket instead of going for a hike...
The manager of the hotel is happy to personally accompany you on a flight around our local mountain - in good weather conditions cross country flights of several kilometres are no problem. For beginners the flying school Austriafly - www.austriafly.at in Mühlbach (about 20 minutes away by car) offers taster courses or 1 week long foundation courses as well as advanced courses.
We are also happy to organise a riding lesson or classes in one of the Altenmarkt riding stables, regardless of whether its for beginners or advanced riders.
