In Altenmarkt / Zauchensee you will find an altitude with guaranteed snow and 100% snowmaking on the pistes.
There is also the World cup resort Flachau only 5 short minutes away by car from Hotel Laudersbach and 1km away from us there is the completely new chair lift installation in EBEN: Reitlehnen slopes with new kids land and boarder park. Information can be found at www.eben.info - a free ski bus takes you directly from our hotel to the surrounding ski pistes.
Events and Nightlife
Here in the Salzburg Sportwelt Ski Amadé a full programme awaits you at the ski huts for aprés ski and nightlife. Those who wish to can take part in events such as the ski opening, or all sorts of entertainment up until the end of the season. Altenmarkt / Zauchensee is in the centre of the Salzburger Sportwelt Ski Amadé in the glorious Salzburg state.
Altenmarkt / Zauchensee offers your whole sporty family the perfect day in the snow. The mountain railways at the Salzburger Sportwelt Ski Amadé set the highest standards in quality and service.
A large choice of rent-a-ski and ski schools are available, floodlit skiing, snowboard park, free riding and half-pipes add to the fun on the pistes. Lit toboggan runs in the Altenmarkt / Zauchensee region, snow tubing and snow shoe walking all offer variety in the mountains.
Cross country skiing
200 m away from the hotel you can find the endless cross country ski trails of Tauernrunde in Altenmarkt Zauchensee - tracks over 100m which are always optimally groomed guarantee fun and varied trails for the ambitious but also for the cross country skier who does it for pleasure.
Our local cross country ski school under the management of Karl Sieder, will be happy to advise you on anything to do with cross country skiing - make use of our special 3 day packages with lessons and experience the advantages and the positive effect of cross country skiing on the body.
Tobogganing and horse drawn sleigh rides
In addition to the tobogganing parties and romantic horse drawn sleigh rides in Altenmarkt Zauchensee, those who have not had enough of skiing or snowboarding during the day, or maybe the daylight is waning, can come and enjoy the floodlit piste about 2km away - afterwards go to one of the Salzburg aprés-ski bars.
Bathing fun for old and young
About 1km away is the new hot spring "Therme Amadé", which offers a special kind of bathing day with numerous opportunities for young and old.
Tennis enthusiasts are also catered for. They are able to let loose on the neighbouring tennis facilities and tennis aces (indoor courts), and maybe even play a few sets with the tennis racket.
