Within a driving time of ten minutes to one hour, you can reach 17 of the most attractive golf courses in the Alps from our Landhotel Laudersbach in Altenmarkt / Zauchensee.
Our Landhotel Laudersbach is very close (about 2.5 km) to the Tauern golf course in the Salzburger Land with its unique gondola “Birdie-Jet”.
The Golf Club Radstadt has an 18-hole tournament course built according to the latest ecological criteria and also a 9-hole compact course. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, you can enjoy playing golf with friends in alpine surroundings.
The golf gondola “Birdie Jet” is unique in the world! From the 11th green you float 250 meters up to the 12th tee. From there you play the ball over 100 meters into the depth – an unforgettable experience!
Not only the uniqueness of the “Birdie Jets” will inspire you. The fascination of golf at tee 13 at an altitude of 1000 meters! Enjoy from here the fabulous view of the square with the island green, as well as the imposing mountain peaks of the Dachstein massif.
The elaborately maintained 9-hole academy course can also be played without a membership and serves children, adolescents, families and beginners as well as performance-oriented players as a training facility.
The exercise facilities are very spacious. Practice with state champions on the putting green, the pitching and chipping area, the practice bunkers and the driving range with numerous covered tees.

Golfclub Radstadt – ca. 4 km
Here is more than just good golf offered. On our plant, a particularly warm atmosphere welcomes you. Radstadt is a very charming, friendly golf course in the heart of Salzburg. Here you come as a guest and drive as a friend – beginners and handicappers will find excellent training and playing opportunities on an 18-hole championship course and a 9-hole compact course. The golf gondola “Birdiejet” from the 11th green to the 12th tee is unique in the world.
Golf und Country Club Schladming – ca. 25 km
Bernhard Langer personally designed the exclusive 18-hole tournament course (Par 71) of the Golf & Country Club Schladming in Haus im Ennstal directly at Schladming. Above all, the generous water surfaces inspire each new game.
Golfclub “open golf” St. Johann – ca. 25 km
“Golf for everyone” is the motto here. Whether for a child or a senior, beginner or professional: on this relatively easy and inexpensive course, the holes are comfortable to play. Varied training offers complete the package.
Golfclub Goldegg – ca. 35 km
Located in the heart of Salzburg, in the Pongau, on a high plateau above the Salzach Valley, about 1 km outside the village Goldegg, surrounded by an idyllic landscape, the 18-hole golf course of Golf Club Goldegg. The par 72 course is often referred to as a gem of the Salzburg golf landscape.
Golfclub Lungau St. Michael – ca. 50 km
In addition to an 18-hole course and the 9-hole Par3 course you can expect generous exercise facilities. The course has been integrated into the vast expanse of a natural landscape in accordance with all the rules of ecological landscaping against the picturesque backdrop of the Lungau mountains.
