At Laudersbach, we ride out of pure passion...
“To all lovers of curves, landscapes, and good food” — a message from your host Christian:
It’s been quite a few years since I first climbed onto two wheels.
At 12, I began tinkering with my father’s KTM moped — increasing displacement, drilling out the carburetor, and “optimizing” the exhaust. Later, I bought my first KTM Cross bike with my own money and, to my father’s “delight,” promptly left my mark on the meadows and forest trails of our family farm.
As time passed, the jumps got smaller, and I switched to paved roads — and eventually, the racetrack! With a Ducati Monster 900, I rode my first laps at the Salzburg Ring — what an experience!
Today, the hotel and family take priority, but I still love heading out on two wheels — often with our guests — exploring our local mountains on my BMW, sharing that unbeatable feeling of freedom on the road.
Endless Curves & Alpine Adventures
Even right outside our door, there are always new roads to discover. My favorite short “warm-up” loop passes through Forstau, Dachstein, and Filzmoos — perfect for an afternoon ride. Of course, legendary routes like the Grossglockner, Nockalm Pass, and Sölk Pass are the crown jewels of any trip here — but great memories don’t need to come from the longest or curviest rides!
Our motorbike guests love the central location of Laudersbach as a base for scenic and varied routes that can easily be combined into your own personal favorite loop. After the ride, relax in our wellness area with a Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, and steam sanarium — or cool off by our private pool and Kneipp fountain surrounded by cozy wooden loungers.

After a long day on the road, unwind on our terrace at Gasthof Laudersbach with traditional Austrian dishes and a glass of fine wine. As a long-time MoHo-certified motorcycle hotel, we provide:

- Washing area and drying room

And if your bike ever acts up, Christian is always ready to help with a wrench and a smile — once, he even built a custom heat shield from a snow shovel for a guest’s side cases! 😉
